This is a very popular reel on the fiddle in the Highlands - you can use it for playing at ceilidhs dances when you know it well. Great fun and fairly easy to play. Buain na Rainich is sometimes also called Tha mi Sgith which means I am tired. It is a song about cutting bracken on the hillside.
