My Nannie's Awa' (audio)

A popular song and tune written by Robert Burns. It was written in 1794 for 'Clarinda' Mrs McLehose as a lament on her departure to the West Indies.

The tune is believed to have been added later as it was originally set to 'There'll Never be Peace until Jamie Comes Home'.
